Despite societal tendencies towards youthfulness, Olesen feels a sense of gratitude for the acknowledgment he’s received on the show. “Parade conducted a Zoom interview with him where he shared, “I still need [affirmation] at my age… It’s wonderful to feel included, and I feel as young as anybody on that stage.”
While Olesen regards age as a trivial detail, he must also acknowledge the mixed blessing of receiving John Legend’s Playoff Pass. It expedited his progress to the Playoffs, but he missed the chance to work with Mega Mentor Keith Urban and to perform for the audience.
Olesen diligently honed his craft, contemplated future performances, and even hired a storyboard artist to strategize his stage presentations. His dedication continues to shine as he adapts to the demanding schedule.
