Dana Winel, reporting live from Los Angeles, shared her take on the event. “Hello, Mike. I’m still on the red carpet here after the live show, which wrapped up a little over an hour ago. Richard did phenomenal. The crowd was loud, the cheers were overwhelming, and the judges were full of praise. It’s clear he’s a strong contender for the million-dollar prize.”

Winel also revealed some personal news: “Richard and his fiancée Angie are getting married tomorrow here in Pasadena, California, just outside of LA. We wish them all the best.”

When asked why he chose “Faithfully” for his final performance, Goodall explained, “I’ve always wanted to finish with ‘Faithfully’ because it’s been my song to her. I wanted my journey to come full circle—starting and ending with Journey, and maybe even adding a little extra with the chance to sing with them.”

In a dream come true, Goodall will get to perform with Journey during the winner’s reveal.
