Terre Haute is on fire as their hometown hero, Richard Goodall, inches closer to winning the grand prize on America’s Got Talent

Now we wait… Richard Goodall stepped on the stage of America’s Got Talent once again. Back in Terre Haute, some of his biggest fans gathered to support him as he goes for the grand prize.

From working the broom as a school janitor to working the microphone in front of the whole world, Richard Goodall’s story has been followed and adored by millions of fans, but no one has watched his journey closer than the people of his hometown.

“We wish him the best and what it means for Terre Haute and the Wabash Valley. Our kids are excited. Our parents are excited. Our grandparents are excited. You can feel it, driving down downtown Third Street you see all these signs wishing him the best of luck, all our schools have their signs out too, and that’s truly an inspiration,” said Terre Haute Mayor Brandon Sakbun.

Tonight, Goodall embarked on his final chapter of his Americas Got Talent story, and fans from all around Terre haute, came to Terre Haute’s convention center, to show their support, for the humble singer.
